The university management has reaffirmed its long-standing Senate policy prohibiting wild celebrations during and after exam periods.
Prohibited Activities
The notice specifically bans the following behaviors both within and outside campus:
- Pouring water, sand, or drinks on others
- Motor, bike, or bicycle parades
- Consuming alcohol, loud shouting, hooting, or dancing
- Playing music or gathering crowds near the Administrative Building
- Any activities that could lead to disorderliness or criminal behavior
Consequences
Students are warned that violations will result in severe sanctions, potentially including cancellation of examinations.
Additional Reminders
- Existing regulations prohibiting students from driving cars onto campus remain enforced
- Parents, friends, and well-wishers are advised to stay away from campus during examinations to maintain a peaceful and distraction-free environment
Recommended Celebration
The university encourages students to look forward to celebrating their academic achievements at the official university convocation ceremony instead of engaging in prohibited activities.
Students are advised to focus on their examinations and maintain orderly conduct throughout the exam period.
