ABU Post-UTME 2025: Registration Guide, Screening Schedule and Requirements

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria has released details for its 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening exercise. Registration runs from August 4 to August 21, 2025, with faculty-specific screening dates scheduled between August 18 and 21.

Eligibility Criteria

UTME Candidates: You must have scored 180 or above in the 2025 JAMB examination to be eligible for ABU's Post-UTME screening.

Direct Entry Candidates: Applicants with relevant qualifications (NCE, ND, A-Level, or degree) can register for Direct Entry admission if they meet the university's requirements for their chosen program.

Registration Process and Fee

The registration fee is ₦2,000, payable through:

• Online payment via ATM card
• Any commercial bank in Nigeria

Access the registration portal at https://portal.abu.edu.ng/forms or through the main ABU website at https://abu.edu.ng.

Important: Failure to register for the Post-UTME screening will automatically disqualify you from admission consideration, regardless of your JAMB score.

• Iya Abubakar Institute of Information and Computing Technology
• Distance Learning Centre
• Computer Based Tests Centre

What to Bring on Screening Day

Make sure to bring the following documents in original form:

• JAMB registration printout
• ABU Post-UTME registration printout
• Valid means of identification
