Bayero University Kano (BUK) has announced the commencement of its online screening exercise for newly admitted undergraduate students for the 2025/2026 academic session. The exercise begins on Monday, March 2, 2026.
BUK Screening Requirements and Steps
All candidates must follow these steps for successful screening:
Step 1: JAMB Clearance
Clear with JAMB by accepting the admission and printing your JAMB Admission Letter from the JAMB CAPS portal.
Step 2: Access the Screening Portal
Log in to the BUK screening portal at: https://mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/myScreening
Step 3: Download Required Documents
- BUK Admission Letter
- Undertaking Form
- University Health Services Registration Form
Step 4: Pay Acceptance Fee
Generate, download, and print your BUK Personalised Payment Form (BUKPPF). The Acceptance Fee is ₦10,000 and is payable through the Remita e-Payments platform.
Important: All fees are non-refundable. The University will not be liable for losses from incorrect data entry.
Step 5: Upload Required Documents
Upload the following documents in JPG format (each not more than 1MB):
- JAMB Result Slip
- JAMB Admission Letter
- O'Level Result
- A'Level Result (for Direct Entry candidates only)
- Any other relevant documents
Note: Documents may be rejected if unclear. Candidates should re-upload clearer copies where necessary.
Step 6: Print Acknowledgement Slip
Print the Acknowledgement Slip which contains further instructions for registration and documentation.
