DELSU Warns Students to Beware of Fraudsters

This is to inform staff, students and other members of the Delta State University (DELSU) Community that information at the disposal of the University Management indicates that some faceless individuals are using the name of the University to defraud some unsuspecting students of the University over scores upgrading. These students have been asked to pay the sum of N5,500 as follows:

Acct. No.: 3091****
Bank: First Bank PLC

The fraudsters also claim that only those who pay the above sum and submit their tellers would have their scores upgraded.

For the avoidance of doubt and to set the record straight, the University Management has no connection with such arrangement and has not directed any group of students to make any form of payment in respect of scores upgrading. Accordingly, all students are advised to disregard such information and should not in any guise part with any amount to these fraudsters.

The University Management has directed the security personnel to investigate and ensure that all those behind this show of shame are brought to book.
