The management of the Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu has released a special notice to all its staff and students. The notice reads;
With deep sorrow sympathy and complete submission to the will of Allah management regret to announce the sudden death of Mallam Suleiman Maina Gimba with a sad event that took place on Friday 20th November 2020 at the General Sani Abacha specialist hospital Damaturu after a brief illness.
Until his death, he was a lecturer 1 with the general studies department School of general and remedial studies.
In view of the above management has declared tomorrow Monday 23rd November 2020 as a work-free date to mourn the death of our dear staff. However, staff on essential duties are to remain on their duty post.
