JAMB 2017 UTME Will Not Be Problematic Like 2016 – Coordinator

Mr. Sunday Aladegbaye, the Lagos State Coordinator of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), has disclosed that candidates sitting for the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) would experience a hitch-free examination.

He made this known during the the Parents’ Forum organised by the Management of the King’s College in Lagos.

According to him, measures were being taken to avoid technical hitches experienced by some candidates like malfunctioning of computers and poor power supply.

He equally mentioned that there will be no compromise in the accreditation of centres to be used for this year’s UTME.

“We will continue to insist on accreditation of well-equipped centres; no more, no less.

“This is because, as a parent myself, I will not do anything that will compromise the future of my children,’’ Aladegbaye said.

He mentioned that the Board would begin registration before the end of March and warned candidates against falling prey to fraudsters.
