Kano State Polytechnic Pre-ND Admission Guidelines for 2025/2026 Session
The Academic Board of Kano State Polytechnic has approved new guidelines for admission into the Pre-National Diploma (Pre-ND) programmes. The approval was granted during the Board's 107th regular meeting held on 9th February, 2026.
Admission Guidelines
According to a circular released by the Academic Affairs Division (Ref: KIP/ACAD/AG/3/III), the following criteria shall guide admission into the Pre-ND programmes:
- Minimum Credits: Candidates with a minimum of three (3) credits are eligible for admission into the Pre-ND programme. However, such candidates must remedy any deficiency before being absorbed into the ND programmes.
- UTME Requirement: Candidates must possess a valid UTME result to qualify for absorption into the ND programmes.
- Examination Requirement: Candidates must successfully pass the Pre-ND examinations before absorption into the ND programmes.
Important Note
The management of the Polytechnic has urged all principal officers, staff, and students to note the guidelines and ensure that the information receives the widest possible publicity.
