Murdoch University RTP Scholarship 2027 for International Students

The 2027 Murdoch University Research Training Program (RTP) stipend round is open to international research students. Awards are competitive and based on academic merit, research experience and research potential.

Scholarship value and duration

• Living allowance: A$37,000 per year, tax exempt.
• Master's by research: up to two years.
• Doctoral degree: up to three and a half years.
• Study mode: full time.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the admission requirements for a higher degree by research. Murdoch lists a first-class or upper second-class honours degree, a master's degree by research, or an equivalent qualification. It also states that applicants should have First Class Honours, H2A or equivalent, or a master's degree with a significant thesis component.

Murdoch's application guidance includes academic transcripts and certificates, proof of identity, English test scores where required, a curriculum vitae, research proposal and referee reports. Documents not in English need certified translations.
