Orion Research Foundation Grants Details and FAQs

Orion, a globally operating Finnish pharmaceutical company is offering Grants to Young Scientist who are interested in pursuing a Research program in Finland.

The Foundation does not award travel grants, for example for travel to congresses. The smaller grants (maximum EUR 5,000) are always personal grants and not for expenditure.

Sale of Orion Diagnostica

Orion announced on 21 April 2018 that it has signed an agreement on the sale of all shares in Orion Diagnostica Oy (i.e. the Orion Diagnostica business division) to an investment fund managed by Axcel Management A/S. The Closing of the transaction took place on 30 April 2018, so the ownership of Orion Diagnostica has been transferred to the buyer. Following the transaction Orion Diagnostica business will be reported as a discontinued operation. In the future, the Orion Group will have only one reporting segment, Pharmaceuticals business.
