JAMB Score Requirements
- Minimum Overall Score: 180 (JAMB benchmark)

- Law: 230
- Nursing Science: 230
- Engineering: 200
- Most other programmes: 180
O'Level Requirements
You must have:
- At least five (5) credit passes
- Including English Language and Mathematics (mandatory)
- Plus three other subjects relevant to your chosen programme
- Within a maximum of two (2) sittings
- From WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB
Additional UTME Requirements
- Must have uploaded O'Level results on JAMB portal
- JAMB subject combination must align with chosen programme
- Must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025
- UNIABUJA must be first choice or successfully changed to
Direct Entry Candidates: Eligibility Requirements
Qualifying Certificates
UNIABUJA accepts the following for Direct Entry admission:
- NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education): With merit grades in relevant subjects
- IJMB (Interim Joint Matriculation Board): With qualifying points
- ND (National Diploma): Upper credit or distinction in relevant field
- HND (Higher National Diploma): For certain programmes
- First Degree: For second degree or professional programmes
Important DE Restrictions
JUPEB and NABTEB A'Level holders need not apply. UNIABUJA does not accept:
- JUPEB certificates for Direct Entry
- NABTEB A'Level qualifications
If you have JUPEB or NABTEB A'Level, you must apply through UTME pathway instead.

Critical Requirement
⚠️ WARNING: "Applicants who fail to register for this screening exercise will not be eligible for admission."
Even if you meet all academic requirements, you MUST register for Post-UTME to be considered for admission. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Age Requirement
All candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025. If you won't be 16 by this date, you're not eligible for admission in the 2025/2026 session.
