The University of Lagos – popularly known as UNILAG – is a federal government university in Lagos State, southwestern Nigeria. In order to achieve rapid industrialization and development after independence, Nigeria needed to invest in the training of a professional workforce. The indispensable need to create more universities to reach this goal was facilitated by the establishment of the University of Lagos in 1962.
The University of Lagos (UNILAG) Foundation Programme Unit has released the time-tables for the First Semester In-Course Assessment and Examination scheduled to begin on Monday, February 9th and Saturday, February 21st, 2015 respectively.
