UNILORIN Post-UTME 2025: Registration Guide, Requirements and Screening Details

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has announced its Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. Registration begins on July 28, 2025, and runs until August 24, 2025, giving candidates approximately four weeks to complete their applications.

Registration Timeline and Fee

Candidates can register from 12:01 AM on Monday, July 28, 2025, through midnight on Sunday, August 24, 2025. The registration fee is ₦2,000, payable through the university portal.

Who Can Apply

Only candidates who selected UNILORIN as their first choice in either UTME or Direct Entry are eligible to register for the screening exercise. Before starting your registration:

• Upload your O-Level and/or A-Level results on JAMB CAPS
• Have a valid personal email address ready
• Prepare your mobile phone number
• Direct Entry candidates should select their highest academic qualification

How Your Admission Score is Calculated

UNILORIN uses a weighted scoring system to determine final admission:

• 50%: UTME or Direct Entry score
• 30%: Post-UTME screening score
• 20%: Five relevant O-Level grades

Important Requirements to Note

Single Sitting Programs: Some competitive programs including Medicine (MB;BS), Pharmacy, Optometry, and Computer Engineering accept only one O-Level sitting. Ensure you meet this requirement before applying to these courses.

Course Changes: Any course change must be done on JAMB CAPS, not on the UNILORIN portal. The university will only recognize changes made through the official JAMB system.

Data Accuracy: Wrong entries will automatically disqualify you. Double-check all information before submission. Your O-Level results on the university portal must match exactly what is on JAMB CAPS when registration closes.
