UNIUYO Post-UTME Cut-off Mark

The minimum JAMB UTME score required is 150. This threshold applies to all undergraduate programs.

The screening fee is ₦2,000 (non-refundable), payable via Remita.

Who Can Apply?

UTME Candidates

You're eligible if you:

  • Selected University of Uyo as your first choice in the 2025/2026 JAMB UTME
  • Scored minimum of 150 in your JAMB examination
  • Are 16 years or older by September 30, 2025

Direct Entry Candidates

DE applicants must:

  • Have selected UNIUYO as first choice institution
  • Possess valid A-Level, NCE, ND, or equivalent qualifications
  • Meet the age requirement (16+ by September 30, 2025)

Candidates with Awaiting Results

If you're still waiting for your O'Level results, you can apply. However, your results must be uploaded to JAMB CAPS by August 31, 2025. This is a strict deadline - late uploads will disqualify you from admission consideration.

Registration Process

Step 1: Create Your Account

For first-time users:

  1. Visit one of the official portals
  2. Click "Create Account" or "New Applicant"
  3. Provide your JAMB registration number
  4. Enter a valid email address and phone number
  5. Create a secure password

Step 2: Generate Payment Reference

  • Log into your account
  • Navigate to Post-UTME registration section
  • Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR)
  • Note down the RRR number

Step 3: Make Payment

  • Pay the ₦2,000 fee using your RRR through:
  • Bank (over the counter)
  • Online banking platforms
  • ATM
  • Remita website or app

Important: Keep your payment receipt - you'll need the transaction reference.

Step 4: Complete Bio-Data Form

Return to the portal after payment and:

  • Fill in all required personal information accurately
  • Enter your JAMB and O'Level details
  • Select your chosen program/department
  • Provide emergency contact information

Critical Rule: Submit your bio-data only once. The system doesn't allow multiple submissions, and errors after submission may be difficult to correct.

Step 5: Upload Documents

For Direct Entry Candidates:

  • Upload original copies of your higher academic qualifications (NCE, ND, A-Level certificates)
  • Scan documents clearly and ensure text is readable
  • Use accepted file formats and sizes

Step 6: Print Acknowledgment

  • After successful submission, print your acknowledgment slip
  • Keep it safe for future reference and verification

Special Categories with Screening Exemptions

UNIUYO grants automatic Post-UTME screening exemption to:

Exempted Candidates

  • Foreign Candidates: International applicants from outside Nigeria
  • Correctional Facility Inmates: Candidates applying from prison education programs
  • Deaf and Blind Candidates: Those with hearing or visual impairments
