Heirs Insurance Group has opened the 2026 Heirs Insurance Essay Championship for junior secondary school students in Nigeria. The competition is for students in JSS1 to JSS3 and focuses on insurance awareness.

Who Can Enter

• Students in JSS1, JSS2, or JSS3 across Nigeria.
• Entrants must upload a passport photograph and a form of identification.
• People directly or indirectly related to Heirs Insurance Group staff, agents, contractors, consultants, vendors, or suppliers are not eligible.

Rewards

• Winner: ₦5,000,000 scholarship
• First runner-up: ₦3,000,000 scholarship
• Second runner-up: ₦1,000,000 scholarship
• Winner's school: ₦1,000,000 grant

Entry Rules

• Essay must be no more than 500 words.
• Essay must be typed, not handwritten.
• Student's name, school, and class should appear on the document.
• Upload must be a Word document.
• The file should be saved with the student's full name.
• Heirs Insurance says AI tools must not be used to generate, rewrite, expand, or substantially assist the entry.

Deadline

Applications close on July 8, 2026. Early submission is advised.
