Midwestern Oil and Gas Company Limited, in partnership with SunTrust Atlantic Energies, is accepting applications for its 2026/2027 Secondary School and University Scholarship Award Scheme. The programme supports students from host communities in Delta State and Delta State indigenes attending Nigerian universities.
Scholarship Categories
1. Secondary School Community Award (Host Communities Only)
Open to JSS 1 and JSS 2 students from Midwestern host communities.
Requirements:
- Admission letter to a Nigerian secondary school
- Previous year's primary school or JSS 1 result
- Birth Certificate
- Identification Letter signed by a Board of Trustees member
2. University Community Award (Host Communities Only)
Open to 100-level and 200-level students from host communities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 credits in SSCE/GCE including Mathematics and English (one sitting)
- Current University ID Card
- JAMB/UTME and university admission letter from an accredited Nigerian university
- Identification Letter signed by a Board of Trustees member
3. University Merit Award (Delta State Indigenes Only)
Open to 200-level students with strong academic performance.
Requirements:
- Minimum CGPA of 3.5 at the time of application
- Minimum of 5 credits in SSCE/GCE including Mathematics and English (one sitting)
- JAMB/UTME and university admission letter
- Current University ID Card
- Letter identifying LGA and Senatorial Zone
