Midwestern Oil and Gas commencement of operations in 2001, and Delta State in general by constantly investing in human capital to ensure economic development. Therefore, the company hereby invites suitably qualified Nigerian students to apply for its 2025/2026 scholarship schemes.

What are the scholarship categories for the Midwestern Oil and Gas JV Scholarship?

  • Secondary School Merit and Community Award – for host communities only
  • University Merit and Community Award – for host communities only
  • University Merit Award – for Delta State indigenes only

What is the eligibility criteria?

Secondary School Merit and Community Award – for host communities Only

  1. Scholarship is open to JSS 1 and JSS 2 students only.
  2. Admission letter to a secondary school in Nigeria.
  3. Result of the last year in primary school or JSS 1 Result.
UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY AWARD
For Host Communities only
  1. Scholarship is open to 100 and 200-level students at the time of application.
  2. Minimum of credits in SSCE or GCE including Mathematics and English in one sitting.
  3. JAMB/UTME & University admission letter from an accredited/approved university in Nigeria.
DELTA STATE MERIT AWARD
For Delta State Indigenes only
  1. Scholarship is open to 200-level students who must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 at the time of application.
  2. Minimum of 5 credits in SSCE or GCE including Mathematics & English, in one sitting.
  3. JAMB/UTME & University admission letter from an accredited/approved university in Nigeria.
