JAMB Extends 2025/2026 Admission Deadline to November 17 for Public Universities

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the deadline for 2025/2026 admissions in public universities to Monday, November 17, 2025.

Reason for the Extension

The decision follows an appeal from the Association of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities citing two major factors:

• Disruptions caused by a court order that affected the admission list until October 28, 2025
• Release of 229 newly accredited programs in 37 universities on October 29, 2025, with admissions to these programs just commencing
