NWAG 2026 Undergraduate Scholarships
The Nigerian Women Association of Georgia (NWAG), USA, has announced its 2026 undergraduate scholarships for female students in Nigerian universities. The annual programme awards 111 one-time scholarships across Nigeria’s 36 states and the FCT.
Scholarship Awards

Eligibility
- Must be a female undergraduate student in a Nigerian university
- Open to students in any course of study
- Not open to final-year students
- Must be a Nigerian citizen
Required Documents
- State of origin letter (from university or local government)
- Two letters of recommendation from any two of: Pastor/Imam, Village Head, Local Government Chairperson, or University Lecturer/Head of Department
- One academic recommendation from Dean of Faculty or Department Head
- Photocopy of current university student ID
- Passport photograph
- Personal statement (maximum half typed page) explaining why you need and deserve the scholarship
- Two-page, double-spaced typed essay on the topic below

“How can Nigeria harness renewable energy and sustainable practices to create jobs and drive economic growth?”
AI Policy: Applicants may use AI tools for up to 25% of their essay submission. The remaining content must be original work.
