NMU Admission List 2025/2026 Released on JAMB CAPS: How to Check and Accept

Nigerian Maritime University (NMU) has released its admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

How to Check Your Admission Status

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Visit JAMB Portal: Go to efacility.jamb.gov.ng
2. Login: Enter your registered email and password
3. Access Dashboard: Navigate to your candidate dashboard
4. Select CAPS: Click on “Check Admission Status”
5. Access CAPS: Click “Access my CAPS”
6. View Status: Select “Admission Status” to see your result

Understanding Your Admission Status

If Admitted

You will see:

• A congratulations message
• Your passport photograph displayed
• Your admitted programme details

If Not Admitted

You will see:

• “Sorry No Admission has been Given Yet”
• You may need to wait for subsequent batches or consider other options

How to Accept Your Admission

SMS Method

Send an SMS to 55019 or 66019 with:

• ACCEPT - to accept your admission offer
• REJECT - to reject and seek admission elsewhere

Important: Use the phone number registered with your JAMB profile.

For Candidates Without Registered Phone

Visit any JAMB-accredited CBT center to complete the acceptance process.

Acceptance Timeline

Candidates have four weeks from the date of offer to respond. Failure to accept within this period may result in forfeiture of the admission.

After Accepting Admission

1. Print Admission Letter: Download from JAMB CAPS
2. Keep Safe: The letter is required for clearance and registration
3. Check NMU Portal: Monitor for registration and clearance dates
4. Prepare Documents: Gather all credentials for physical clearance
