RSHTM Beat NTDs Photo Contest Details and FAQs
The photo competition is an opportunity to raise awareness of the devastating impact NTDs can have on people’s lives, but also the positive stories of those on the ground delivering services including treatment and care, working in communities, researching treatments and lobbying governments in their collective efforts to achieve a world free of NTDs.
Neglected Tropical Disease (NTDs) are a group of treatable and preventable diseases that continue to affect over 1.5 billion of the world’s most impoverished, marginalised people living in remote communities. Despite their prevalence, they get little attention or coverage.
RSHTM are partnering with the Neglected Tropical Disease NGO Network (NNN) to launch a photo competition to find the most engaging photographic representation of the work being done to prevent, control, treat and eliminate (NTDs) around the world.
