Veritas University Post UTME / DE Screening Announcement

Veritas University is a private university, located in Abuja. It was founded in March 2002 by the Catholic Church in Nigeria. The school management of the Veritas University, Abuja (the Catholic University of Nigeria) are inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates that sat for the last UTME/Direct Entry candidates for admission to degree programmes on a full-time basis in the Colleges and Departments of the University for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.

The cut-off mark is 170 IJMB, JUBEB and Cambridge candidates do not need to write UTME/JAMB to gain admission into 200 level.

Veritas University Post UTME / DE Screening Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates who made Veritas University, Abuja their first or second choice in their current UTME application form.
• UTME applicants must have obtained a minimum score of 170.
• 200 and above (for Nursing and Pharmacy)
• 220 and above (for Law)
• 170 and above for every other program in the last UTME
• All other candidates interested in studying at Veritas University, even if Veritas University is not their choice in JAMB.
• Direct entry and Transfer Candidates wishing to transfer from other Universities to Veritas University, Abuja.

Transfer Candidates

**Admissions requirements for Transfer candidates:**

• Transfer fee of 200,000 naira for students who are considered for admission after screening.
• CGPA of 1.5 for other courses except the Health sciences who need 3.5 and above.

The Undergraduate admissions for the 2024/25 academic session will commence on the 31st day of May, 2024.

How to Apply Veritas University Post UTME Screening

Start Application

• Visit the Admissions portal, and register with a valid email address to create an account. APPLY NOW

Pay Application Fee

• On the admissions portal, you will be requested to pay an Application fee of Four thousand five hundred Naira only (N 7000.00) for Undergraduate students

Fill out forms

• Fill out the forms by providing the appropriate information required. Please ensure that you review your forms properly before submission.

Review of Submissions

• Your submissions will be reviewed by a panel made up of members of the Central Admissions Committee at Veritas University, to ascertain your eligibility to study with us.

Interviewing Process

• After the review, you will be scheduled for an online or physical Interview with a member of the Central Admissions Committee.

Final Decision

• Upon completion of the Interview process, successful candidates will be contacted and issued admission letters.
