FUTECH Announces Resumption Date and Fee Schedule for 2025/2026 New Students

The Federal University of Technology Ikot Abasi has announced the commencement date and fee structure for newly admitted students in the 2025/2026 academic session.

Important Dates

• Portal Activation: December 1, 2025
• Academic Activities Begin: Monday, January 5, 2026 (screening, registration, and orientation)

Total Bundle Fee: ₦233,500

New students are required to pay a comprehensive fee covering 20 items. Major components include:

• Development Levy (one-time): ₦100,000
• Laboratory/Workshop: ₦25,000
• Field Trip: ₦20,000
• General Studies: ₦10,000
• Matriculation: ₦8,000
• Library: ₦7,500
• Orientation: ₦7,500
• SIWES: ₦7,500

Payment Options

FUTECH offers two payment plans:

Option 1 - Full Payment: ₦233,500 in a single transaction

Option 2 - Installment Plan:

• First tranche: ₦166,750 (includes development levy)
• Second tranche: ₦66,750

Important Notes

The development levy is a one-time payment that applies throughout a student's enrollment period. It will not be charged in subsequent sessions. All payments are processed through Remita.

Students are advised to complete payment early to avoid portal congestion closer to the resumption date.
