The NLNG Post-Primary Scholarship scheme kicked off in 2012 with 28 beneficiaries, and has grown to a total of 172 beneficiaries by 2015.
Applications are invited for the Nigeria LNG Limited scholarship program which is provided to high performing basic six pupils in Nigeria.

The application deadline for this scholarship programme is Monday, 22nd April, 2024.
What is the eligibility criteria for the NLNG Post-Primary scholarship?
- Must be an indigene of any of the NLNG host communities in Rivers State.
- Must be in Basic Six and schooling in a public primary school in Rivers State.
- Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship award, bursary, or grant from any other organization.
- Must not be more than 12 years of age.
- Must not be a spouse, child, ward, or direct relation of staff of Nigeria LNG Limited.
How do I know if I’m eligible for the scholarship?
- Be a Basic 6 pupil in a public primary school in Rivers State.
- Have a provisional admission from any of NLNG partner schools below:
- Halol College (Boarding) Rukpokwu, Port Harcourt
- Archdeacons Brown Secondary School Waji, Port Harcourt
- Chrisfe Toby Education Centre, Iriabe
- Provide his/her Basic 4, Basic 5, ad Basic 6 result sheets.
- Provide an attestation letter stamped and signed by the Headmaster or Headmistress of his/her current school (the contact telephone number of the headmaster/headmistress must be stated in the letter).
- Provide an indigene confirmation letter signed by the CDC Chairman or Chief in his/her community.
- Provide a letter of identification from his/her Local Government Council.
- Provide a recent passport sized photography without glasses.
- Provide a recent passport sized photograph without glasses (photo taken not earlier than January, 2024).
- Provide a birth certificate issued by the Nigeria Population Commission (NPC).

Note:
- All the documents mentioned above must be uploaded. Incomplete attachments will lead to disqualification of the application.
- Applicants must fill in valid contact details (email address and telephone number) as these will be used to communicate the status of the application.
- Applicants are advised to check their email boxes regularly for information on the status of their application.
- Application will be disqualified for falsification of documents and non-adherence to advertised criteria.
- Only shortlisted applicants will be invited for the Selection Test.

- Selection test will be paper based at designated Test Centres in Port Harcourt and Bonny, in Rivers State.
